This series of small paintings is based on my nature photography posted on my Instagram account, @bella_ormseth_artist. The nature photograph of a given month that received the most likes became the subject of my painting. I gave myself 6 days to complete the painting, forcing me to think and paint fast. What emerged was a series of self portraits. These paintings helped me transition from abstract to realistic painting. These paintings were in the "Masters in Miniature" show at the Vashon Center for the Arts in December 2018.
